Barbara graduated from Conestoga College in the 3 year Graphic and Advertising Design program.
She worked as a graphic designer for 15 years in Toronto working on such accounts as Shoppers

website design for a wide variety of clients which have included Hilton Hotels Canada, Kiwaniss,

and parts of Simcoe.
Barbara's painting style is directly opposite of the control demanded in her graphic art.
Her acrylic and oil pieces are bold, graphic and impressionistic in a style unique to Barbara.
Her paintings are alive with colour and texture. Experimenting and pushing her personal limits
ensures that her work is continually changing and evolving. Whether painting birds, flowers or rural
landscapes and scenes, today, as in her childhood, the natural environment remains the greatest
influence on her and her work.
